The Kraft Heinz Company is currently seeking PLC Programmer to work at our processing facility in Lowville, NY. Successful candidates must be willing to contribute improvements suggestions and ideas to help continue the success of our facility. Ideal candidates must be safety and quality orientated along with demonstrate adaptability and willingness to work in a team orientated, fast paced work environment. This position requires individuals to perform general production duties in a food manufacturing environment following strict quality and safety standards.

Minimum Qualifications:
•Candidates must be available to work all shifts including second, third & weekends and holidays
•Prior manufacturing experience is preferred
•High School Diploma (or equivalent) with prior related experience as technician in a manufacturing environments required. See *special job knowledge for more information.
•Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and business enterprise systems (i.e., SAP)
•Advanced understanding of predictive and preventative maintenance processes.
•Demonstrated Leadership Skills. Strong written, verbal, communication, and presentation skills
•Certification in Lean/Six Sigma methods and processes preferred.
•Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) preferred.

•A $.27 shift differential for those who working on second or and $.45 shift differential for those working on third shift.

Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7 am to 3 pm (1st Shift, variable based on assigned work)

Schedule is based on 7 days per week production; workdays may fluctuate from week to week based on production.

Overtime and weekend work will be required

Job Overview:
This position is responsible for Implement PLC projects from design, start up to maintenance including calibration, scaling, digital, analog, level, and temperature control. This is a first shift position; however, work on all shifts is expected, as well as weekends and holidays based on line improvement/implementation startup.
Responsibilities & Duties:
•Program PLC with multiple brands with an emphasis on Allen Bradley and Rockwell brands.
•Implement PLC projects from design, start up to maintenance including calibration, scaling, digital, analog, level, and temperature control.
•Program interfaces, touch screens and displays including RSView 32, HMI, Thin clients, Panel Mates and Panel views. Use standard wiring and labeling practices.
•Read and interpret schematics and blueprints.
•Working with web-based and converting processes, conveyor-driven systems, pallet-based systems and multiple-station automation.
•Set up and test manufacturing equipment under power; test for mechanical difficulties, trace the problems to their sources, and correct the problems.
•Perform routine maintenance on manufacturing equipment as scheduled.
•Follow proper safety protocol and procedures.
•Start up, operate, and shut down equipment in accordance with company safety procedures and OSHA LOTO regulations for equipment under power.
•Must complete required documentation and records associated with the PLC and design of the equipment.
•Communicate and work together with other departments in order to design the PLC and maintain the equipment necessary to produce quality product efficiently and in accordance with production schedules.
•Design and wire control panels, knowledge of standard wiring and labeling practices.
•Maintain and troubleshoot all PLC networks and interfaces.
•This position will be the main contact person for Rockwell Tech connect and Asset Centre.
•Ability to train other Kraft Heinz Electrical Techs and schedule in house training for CLX PLC, CLX Motion, FTView SE, RSL5, RSL500, RSLinx Classic and Enterprise, Hartness Robot and Pallet pattern software and AB CCW software.
•Adhere to all site rules, and to adhere to all ways of working, and processes and procedures within that role.
•Ensures all products manufactured comply with the Quality Assurance Program and policies reviewed during the on the job training applicable to this specific operation function. Responsible for implementation and ongoing maintenance of QRMP standards as assigned and actively executes performance monitoring audits in a timely manner.
•Will follow instructions delivered during the training that explained the fundamentals of the Company Safety Process and will keep himself/herself and others away from harm while performing his/her duties. Will adhere to all LOTO policy and procedures.
•Perform other duties as assigned
