Veterans on the Perry campus are also served by a Vet Corps Navigator. The Vet Corps was created through a partnership between the Washington Department of Veterans Affairs and AmeriCorps. The Vet Corps places representatives on campuses to help veterans navigate any obstacles they may encounter while attending school. First-time applicants of Chapter 33, 30, 32, 1606, and 1607 can apply online with VA Form 22-1990 on VONAPP or print and complete a hard copy of VA Form 22-1990 and mail to:

For those applying for Chapter 35, you must complete VA Form 22-5495 online at VONAPP or print and complete a hard copy of Form 22-5495 and mail to the regional office.
For those who are transferring benefits (TOE) to their dependents under the Post 9/11 GI Bill®, you must first obtain approval from the Department of Defense (DOD). Once approved, you can apply with the VA Form 22-1990e.

If you have used veterans education benefits from Chapter 33, 30, 32, 1606, or 1607 at a previous school, you must complete a change of program or place of training Form 22-1995 online at VONAPP or print and complete a hard copy of Form 22-1995 and mail to the regional office.
If you have used Chapter 35 benefits at a previous school please complete VA Form 22-5495 online at VONNAPP or print and complete a hard copy of Form 22-5495 and mail to the regional office.
After submitting the application, please print a copy. It will take three to four weeks for you to receive your Certificate of Eligibility (COE) in the mail. This letter will state your months and percentage of entitlement. You will need to provide a copy to the School Certifying Official.

The Veteran’s Alliance is open to all veterans enrolled at Perry Tech. The Veteran's Alliance meets twice a month; check with the Vet Corps Navigator in Student Services for the date of the next meeting.
The mission of the Veteran’s Alliance is to honor our current active duty military and veterans through community service, camaraderie, and support. The group leads local initiatives and activities that display respect and support of our active duty military and veterans. The Veteran's Alliance sponsors fund-raisers and members volunteer in the community.
There are no membership dues or fees required to participate.
