Instrumentation & Industrial Automation Technology

As the role of automation expands, so does the demand for instrument technicians. Put the high-tech world of automated controls at your fingertips with training from Perry’s Instrumentation & Industrial Automation Technology Program.

The two-year program teaches a basic understanding of mathematics for electronics, electricity, solid state, digital devices, applied physics and calculus. Programmable logic controllers, transmitters, transducers, recorders and controllers are used to simulate control techniques. You’ll learn to monitor, install, troubleshoot, repair and calibrate process controls such as temperature, level, flow and pressure.

Instrumentation and industrial automation technology is used to manufacture or package all the products you use every day. All automated systems require instruments to control and monitor what is happening throughout the process.

Put your skills to work in industries ranging from petrochemical to pharmaceutical and power generation. With training from Perry, you can use your skills anywhere in the world in positions that offer variety, competitive salaries and stable employment.
