Learn the skills you need to join one of the fastest-growing professions by enrolling in Perry’s Medical Office Administration & Coding Program.
The 18-month program teaches the basic office skills required to work in a medical office and medical coding and reimbursement practices.
The curriculum covers computer applications; medical terminology; anatomy and physiology; medical office procedures; human diseases; and basic, intermediate, advanced and specialty medical coding.
The program offers the opportunity to earn three industry certifications: Microsoft Certified Applications Specialist; the National Certification for Medical Office Assistants; and the Certified Professional Coder. In the final quarter, you’ll have a chance to put your skills to work in an externship.
To control rising health care costs, medical records are increasingly being scrutinized by insurance companies, regulators, courts and consumers. This trend makes the role of medical records and health information technicians more important than ever before and translates into a career with a large number of openings in a variety of settings, excellent opportunities for advancement and long-term job security.
