Gasseling has proven himself to be well suited for life as a student. He was recently named April Student of the Month at Perry Technical Institute. The Wapato resident enrolled in Perry's Business Technology & Accounting Program after a knee injury left him unable to perform his job for a local document destruction business. His mother told him about the services provided through the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation. “I needed help to find a job that wasn't so physically demanding,” he said. Gasseling soon realized that he needed to further his education in order to get the kind of job he was seeking. He toured the Perry campus and was attracted to the Business Technology & Accounting Program.
